EAR, NOSE AND THROAT DISORDERS

Upper respiratory tract spans from nose to oropharynx and related structures, e.g. paranasal sinuses and ear, which provides first line of defence against inhalant challenges.

Upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) account for over half of the outdoor consultations in pediatric practice. Pathologies in these structures are often interrelated and generally clubbed together as ENT (ear, nose and throat) disorders.
