SEIZURE DISORDERS
Seizure is defined as “transient occurrence of signs and/or symptoms due to abnormal excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brainquot;, presenting with motor, sensory, autonomic, or behavioral manifestations. Seizures may be solitary or recurrent. The term seizure disorder denotes all kind of recurrent seizures, and possibly single seizures, irrespective of the etiology.
