The New Physiocratic Platform

The platform of the New Physiocrats (outlined in detail at the end of this book), includes economic, social, and political policy reforms. It includes a shift away from taxes on earned incomes, to the point where labor, savings, and investment are effectively subsidized with direct cash transfers.

Taxation is instead shifted on to unearned income, in particular by capturing increases in land value and environmental use. Physical space and time are democratized in this platform, resulting in regaining control of our architecture, natural environment, landscapes, and leisure time. It includes innovative measures to minimize economic distortions and information asymmetry, and to maximize economic diversity and employment opportunities. New Physiocratic social policies tackle difficult demographic, cultural, and family issues, while simultaneously maximizing freedom of expression and natural liberties. The political reforms include creating an outlet for every economic and social facet of a country to voice their desires in a transparent manner, while reconciling their interests in a way to work towards the public’s long term goals.
