Conclusion

The management of CPP may be straightforward in many cases but in a significant proportion of cases the underlying cause remains elusive and the pain continues to be debilitating despite conven­tional treatments. In this situation, a multidisciplinary approach is necessary to help manage this challenging condition. Developing a good doctor-patient relationship is the cornerstone to successful treatment.
