Conclusion

More research is needed on various aspects of violence against women and girls especially areas where there is little research such as ‘honour'-based violence, forced marriage, and stalking. For do­mestic violence, screening and intervention for pregnant women in the antenatal period may result in improved obstetric outcomes and reduction in further violence.
