CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE
Congenital heart diseases (CHD) are present in ~8- 12#8725; 1000 live births, though the true incidence is perhaps much higher, as many of them remain asymptomatic and undiagnosed in early life. Additionally, ~3-4% stillbirths and ~10% aborted fetuses have underlying heart defects.
