Toxocara canis Infestation

Rabbits, particularly wild rabbits, are widely recognized as paratenic hosts for the canine ascarid, T. canis, and are purported to pose a risk to humans when rabbit meat is consumed.

However, no descriptions of natural cases in domestic rabbits could be found.
