Emerging Paradoxes in the Global Workplace

Organizational scholars and practitioners agree that contemporary organizations need difference and alternative views to develop creative ideas to succeed. But as we have seen, bringing people with culturally diverse perspectives and experiences together makes conflict more likely, often hampering organi­zational effectiveness. This tension gives rise to three paradoxes of globalization.
