An Evolving Inquiry

Our work has taken some intriguing turns in its 25-year history. In this section, we provide a bit of background and history on the topic. Our inquiry started as an elucidation of the problem of moral conflict and has evolved into an exploration of processes that can transcend difficult differences, including moral conflict. In this section, we outline four dimensions of this inquiry: (1) theoretical and methodological influences, (2) case studies, (3) conceptualizing the discourse of conflict, and (4) exploring transcendent communication.
