In this section, we summarize research that has described specific communication strate­gies and procedures to improve health care delivery, medical education and training pro­grams, patient education and training pro­grams, and dispute system design in health care settings. Table 16.3 includes a list of dominant ideas and models for improving communication and conflict management in health care delivery.
