Burkholderia gladioli Infection

A single report of barrier-maintained mice with vestibu­lar disorders due to otitis externa, media, and interna has been attributed to B. gladioli. Suppurative lesions in other organs also occurred sporadically. Affected mice were all immunodeficient strains. Acidification of water did not preclude infection.
