Caudal Regression Syndrome

■ Absence of the sacrum and portions of the lumbar spine

■ Associated with maternal diabetes

■ Associated findings include syringomyelia, anorec­tal stenosis, renal abnormalities, external genital abnormalities, and cardiac problems

■ Motor and sensory abnormalities
