SAFE IMMUNIZATION PRACTICES
Immunization is a unique medical intervention in the sense that the child is otherwise healthy and any error or compromise on the safety may have serious medical, ethical and legal dimensions apart from negative impact on the acceptability of immunization programs.
This chapter deals with important recommendations and suggestions to make immunization a safe event in practice.
