The volume is the outcome of a seminar, Making Sense of Muslim Personal Laws in Post-independent India, jointly organised by the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) and Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) in Hyderabad on 20—21 September 2019.
