Conclusion
The obstetric procedures described in this chapter are effective measures to manage or prevent difficult or complicated childbirth. However, they are not without risk. Hence careful clinical assessment of patients, appropriate medical indication of the procedures, and proper training of the skills required are all essential to ensure safe application of these procedures.
