FOOT CONDITIONS CAUSING LAMENESS

The majority of conditions causing lameness affect the foot and of these, sole ulcers and white line dis­ease are the most common. In this section lameness in the foot will be subdivided into:

Sole ulcers and white line diseases

Other conditions affecting the hoof: nail penetration, sandcracks and others

Conditions of the skin: foul, digital dermatitis, corns and mud fever
