Prymak T.. Ukraine, the Middle East, and the West. Montreal: McGill-Queen’s University Press,2021. — 306 p.. 2021

This book is a parallel journey of sorts, and consists of a mosaic of various elements, most rather colourful, and each revealing in its own way. My chapters deal with what I call “Oriental” and “Occidental” aspects of Ukrainian history and culture that have long fascinated me, but receive little attention in conventional treatments of the country.
